Children’s Aid Society of Oxford County

The Children’s Aid Society of Oxford County has been providing child protection services since 1895. Our main duties include: Investigating allegations or evidence that children under the age of 16 years may be in need of protection from physical/psychological abuse; providing guidance, counseling and other services to families for the protection of children or for the prevention of circumstances requiring the protection of children; providing care for children and placing children for adoption. We help families by working cooperatively with public health departments, hospitals, doctors, schools, police and other social service agencies in an effort to offer a complete range of services to assist families with their problems. The Children’s Aid Society of Oxford County requires the support and involvement of the community in providing quality child welfare services in our county.
