Micheal Kocheff

As a Board member, Michael will advocate for responsive and transparent local and county government and will engage local businesses to ensure the Chamber remains the place where businesses go to connect and grow together.

Following his call to the bar, Michael practised at a law firm in Waterloo,
specializing in the areas of Civil and Municipal Litigation. He joined Holmes & Kocheff LLP (located on Harvey Street in Tillsonburg) as a partner in July 2015.
His areas of practice include: Real Estate, Wills and Estates, Business Law and Civil Litigation. He has advocated before the Ontario Court of Justice, Superior Court of Justice and Court of Appeal.

In his spare time, Michael serves on the Board of Directors of Jesse’s Journey (London), a charity dedicated to funding research for a cure to Duchenne’s muscular dystrophy, volunteers at an area church and coaches through Tillsonburg Minor Baseball.

Michael, his wife Amanda and their two children, Bennett and Meryl, are proud residents of Tillsonburg. Michael is an avid fan of multiple cursed sports franchises, is a beer league level hockey player and a politics junkie.
